Food Poisoning

Ars. is the head remedy for food poisoning.

Food poisoning due to bad water, spoiled fish, shell-fish, meat.

Vomiting and diarrhea causes great weakness.

Great anxiety and restlessness.

Intense thirst, drinking often, but little at a time.

Cold and clammy perspiration.

Ars. should be given every 15 minutes or at longer intervals as the patient improves.

Food-poisoning after eating spoiled meat, spoiled fish, spoiled fat-rich food.

V. is indicated in more severe forms of food poisoning, where the stools are very offensive, followed by burning in rectum with putrid flatus.

The weakness is so great that he lies quietly. He is too weak to move.

The body is icy cold, especially the nose, cheeks and extremities from feet to knees.

Cold sweat on forehead.

Should be give every 10-15 minutes.

Food-Poisoning caused by spoiled fish meat-fatty rich food. Stools watery, greenish-yellow or very changeably, (no 2 stools alike).

Rumbling and cutting in abdomen before stool.

Great dryness of mouth but no thirst.

Food poisoning from spoiled fish, fatty-rich food, meat.

Painless diarrhea.

Stools watery, yellow-brown, mixed with undigested food.

Thirst daring stool. Desire to drink frequently, but little at a time.

Abdomen greatly distended with flatus.

Flatus is very offensive.

Great weakness after stool.

Food poisoning from fruits, spoiled fatty-rich food.

Stools fermented, putrid, as green as grass with frequent vomiting of food, bile, green jelly like mucus.

Flatulent colic about navel.

Continuous nausea, not relieved by vomiting.

Food poisoning by eating shell-fish. Excessive accumulation of flatulence with colic.

Diarrhea, vomiting of food and bile.

Stools green, yellow.
