ACONITE 200
It is very important remedy for neuralgia caused by cold drafts, exposure to dry cold wind.
Sudden severe pain.
Face hot, red and swollen.
Pain worse evening and at night.
Neuralgia, especially of left side.
Aco. is a great pain remedy. The pain is intolerable. Pain is always accompanied by extreme restlessness, anxiety and fear. Patient tosses about in agony.
Patient becomes more restlessness at night. Mental restlessness is more marked than physical.
In Aco. numbness, tingling and restlessness are present along with pain or alternate with pain.
Mental condition in very important in Aconite patient. If mental condition (restlessness, anxiety and fear) is not present in the patient, Aco. will not cure.
CHAMOMILLA 200
Unbearable (shooting, tearing, pulsating) pain.
Face puffy. One cheek red and hot, the other pale and cold.
Pain worse at night and from warmth, accompanied with heat of face, thirst, hot sweat about the head.
Patient is very sensitive to pain, so that least pain becomes unbearable.
BELLADONNA 30, 200
Bell. is useful when the attack comes suddenly and go suddenly. Face swollen, bright red.
Neuralgia worse right side with cutting pain in the evening, worse mid-night.
Pain radiate to temples, ears and nape; worse from motion; jar, touch, noise, cold air, better from sitting up in bed.
Pain increases gradually and ceases suddenly.
Daily attack of neuralgia from noon to mid-night.
ARSENIC ALBUM 200
Malarial neuralgia. Paroxysms come at regular intervals.
Tearing, burning (hot needle like) pain.
Face is cold and pale.
Face swollen, pale, yellow, sunken, cold, covered with sweat.
Pain worse at night, better by hot application, external heat.
The pains are severe drive the patient from place to place.
COLOCYNTH 200
Left sided tearing pains, extending to ear and head.
Pain in cheek bones.
Pain worse from motion and touch and better external pressure but return as soon as pressure is removed.
SPIGELIA 30, 200
Prosopalgia, mostly left-sided, involving eyes, cheeks, teeth, temples.
Pain worse stooping, touch, movement.
Periodical neuralgia from morning.
Until sunset.
Tearing pain in whole jaw extending to ears and even nape of neck. Pain worse on moving the head.
Ciliary (pertaining to eye-lids and eye-brows) neuralgia or prosopalgia where the pain comes up over the head from the occiput.
MAGNESIA PHOSPHORICA 200
Mag. Phos. is an excellent remedy for facial neuralgia. The pain is intermittent darting and are relieved by warmth.
Relief from warmth is guiding symptom of Mag. phos.
Neuralgias involving the whole side of head and neck.
MEZEREUM 6, 30, 200
An important remedy for ciliary neuralgia, when there is cold feeling in the eye and neuralgia which reflex from decayed teeth.
Worse warmth, mid-night.
Neuralgia in the cheek-bone or over left eye.

Tearing pains in the bones of the face.
CAUSTICUM 30
Facial neuralgia at every change of weather, better by cold application.
Pain in facial bones.
Pain in jaws and difficulty in opening mouth.
NATRUM MUR. 30
Prosopalgia, periodical, especially after checked ague.
NUX VOMICA 30
Infraorbital neuralgia and lachrymation and swelling of the cheek.
Intermittent neuralgia, especially after abuse of coffee or liquor.
Twitching and drawing pains in the face, extending to the ear.
PLATINA 6, 30
Prosopalgia and numb feeling in the molar bones, as if the parts were in between the screws.
Pain increases and decreases gradually.
Sensation of burning and redness on the face.
STAPHYSAGRIA 6, 30
Neuralgia from caries. Pain extending to eyes.
Sub-maxillary glands are painful with or without swelling.
Sharp burning, stitches in left cheek.
Pain worse on swallowing and on touch.
VERBASCUM 30
Neuralgia; violent, benumbing, pressive or tensive pains, particularly of left side.
Pains seem to come in flashes.
Pains are worse on talking, sneezing and change of temperature.
Facial neuralgia involving also the chin and lower jaw.
RHUS TOX. 30, 200
Facial neuralgia and chilliness.
Worse evening.
Pain in maxillary joints.
Neuralgic pains in the face are mostly on the right side, usually similar pains, in the forehead and side of the head.
