Iritis

This is an inflammation of the coloured curation like substance behind the center of the eye and is often due to tuberculosis or syphilis or trauma or rheumatism.

Treatment

If due to trauma, Arnica 3 (also apply to eyes a lotion made of Arnica Ө m.x. and water 4 oz.) If there is fever too, Aconite 3x. If brain is affected, Arnica 3 or Belladonna3. If due to rheumatism, Bryonia, Spigelia or Euphrasia. If due to gout, Arsenic, Colocynth, Cocculus, Aur. If due to Syphilis, Kali Bichrom., Merc. Sol., Acid Phos. If due to gonorrhoea, Acid Phos., Merc. Sol., Arg. Nit., Thuja—all in their 6th potency.
