Whitlow

This is a deep-seated infection of finger. A pus forms very deep inside the tissues, it is a most painful affection; unless promptly taken on in hand, it causes local destruction of an irreparable nature.

Treatment

In early stage, when pain is in the bones: Silicea 3x- 30 If fever is present, some use it alternately with Bell. 6. If the finger is blackish, and there is much burning sensation and pain Ars. 6. But if it is bluish Lachesis 6. If pain is unbearable (in early stage): Merc. Sol 6, Hepar Sulphur 6, Stram. 6, Ammon. Carb. 30, Boric Acid 6.

Try also—Anthraxin. 30 Apis 3, Graphites 6, Sangui naria 1x, Bryonia 6, Causticum 6, Ledum 6, Acid Nitric Ө, Dioscorea Ө, Phosphorus Ө applied locally relieves pain. Apply poultice or hot compress and make an early incision.
