Homeopathy Medicine for Bronchitis
Chest inflammation, or bronchitis, is the medical term forbronchus, the windpipe, is a condition that affects many people around the world and frequently interferes with our daily activities. It is typically brought on by an infection (viral, bacterial, fungal, etc.) or an allergy, or both.
Although the difference is not great, it appears that women are slightly more likely than men to develop bronchitis. Bronchitis is more prevalent in children than in adults.
Causes of Bronchitis

- exposure to abrupt temperature changes (such as going from extremely cold to hot and vice versa)
Symptoms of Bronchitis
The most typical symptom of bronchitis is a cough, which can be either dry (without mucus) or wet (with mucus), depending on the underlying cause and severity. Allergic cough is frequently dry, whereas infective cough tends to produce mucus.

Acute bronchitis is the medical term for a single bronchitis episode that may clear up in less than three weeks.
Recurrent bronchitis may be more likely to occur if there is an underlying condition that lowers immunity, a propensity to get sick, or if there are environmental pollutants and smoking.
Patients with lowered immune systems who are exposed to sustaining factors like smoking, pollutants (pneumoconiosis), excessive alcohol consumption, exposure to cold and draught, etc. may present with chronic bronchitis, in which case the patients may experience bronchitis symptoms for an extended period of time, ranging from two months to years.
Homeopathic Treatment of Bronchitis
Antimonium Tartaricum :Given when the person may feel drowsy or dizzy and feels better when lying on their right side or sitting up, and when there is a feeling of wet mucus in the chest and breathing makes a bubbly, rattling sound.
Calcarea Carbonica :Useful for children who may have fever, sweaty heads while sleeping, and be very exhausted, whereas adults may feel more chilly, have clammy hands and feet, have breathing problems when walking up slopes or climbing stairs, and have generally poor stamina. Mostly indicated for bronchitis after a cold. There is a troublesome and tickling cough which get worse from lying down or stooping forward, getting cold, and worse at night.
Hepar Sulph :Very helpful for hoarse and rattling coughs with yellow mucus coming up; advised when person is extremely sensitive to cold; even a small draft or sticking an arm out from under the covers may set off coughing fits; person feels vulnerable both physically and emotionally; person may act extremely agitated and out of sorts.
Kali Bichromicum :Useful for metallic, brassy, hacking cough that begins with a bothersome tickling in the upper air-tubes and brings up strings of sticky yellow mucus.Useful when problems are typically worse in the morning, after eating and drinking, and from exposure to ozone.Useful when there is a feeling of coldness that may be felt inside the chest.Coughing can lead to pain behind the breastbone or extending to the shoulders.Useful when there is a
Silicea :Useful for people who are typically sensitive and nervous, with low stamina, swollen lymph nodes, and poor resistance to infection. There is yellowish or greenish mucus, or little granules that have an offensive smell. There is stitching pain that may be felt in the back when the person is coughing.
