Aphthae

This is a condition of sore-mouth due to uncleanliness, constipation, indigestion, syphilis, indigestion of mercury, etc.

Treatment

Borax 6, Merc. 6 are valuable medicines, Carbo Veg. 6 is used where it is due to abuse of mercury. Acid Nitric. 6—due to syphilis. Try also—Natrum Mur. 6, Ars. 6, Antim Tart, 6, Aurum 6, Sulphur 30.

Borated honey may be applied inside the mouth.
