Lead-Colic

Printers and lead-workers are liable to take small quantities of lead with their food or drink and develop a blue line on their gums, constipation, nausea, etc. and severe intestinal colic.

Treatment

Opium 1x every 15 minutes relieves pain. This failing give Alumen (not Alumina) 3-30 every hour. This failing give Platina 6. Let patient drink milk freely and take warm water enema.
